These Birch Wood candles come from wood harvested from good woodland management. We cut the wood in winter as part of the coppice cycle & I save the most beautiful branch wood for these candles.
The spalting is the beautiful black or brown marbling effect that you see at the top of the candle.
Each candle comes with a coconut wax tealight. Coconut wax is the most ecological wax for tea lights as it is both plant based and is sustainably farmed, so it tops standard parrafin wax & soy wax candles for health & environmental benefits.
Candles come in variable heights to make a set. Box size is 16cm square.
