A Pimp is a large bundle of mini Pimps, each one has a split Hazel stick and Birch twigs tied with tarred string. The mini Pimps make excellent fire starters and the whole thing makes a gorgeous fireside ornament. The Pimp is a Heritage Craft; the name is thought to derive from its use as a ‘go between’ from flame to fire. The frame is made by a local Blacksmith. A Pimp can be bought alone or with a frame, I recommend buying with the frame as it keeps its shape to the end.
