These Birch Wood candles come from wood harvested from good woodland management. We cut the wood in winter as part of the coppice cycle & I save the most beautiful branch wood for these candles. The spalting is the beautiful black or brown marbling effect that you see at the top of the candle. Each candle comes with a coconut wax tealight. Coconut wax is the most ecological wax for tea lights as it is both plant based and is sustainably farmed, so it tops standard parrafin wax & soy wax candles for health & environmental benefits. Pale Birch stool with buttoned mustard velvet seat

Classic meets Rustic with this ‘Bark On’ stool in pale Birch wood. The wooden stool frame is made from branch wood from a Silver Birch tree from our woodland. A dense area of Birch trees needed thinning, which means taking some trees out to leave space for others to grow on and mature, this wood came from one of the trees that was felled. The Birch bark ranges in colour from reddish brown when young to white, when mature, each stage possessing its own special beauty. I felled this tree in the winter a couple of years ago, and left the wood to dry before making this stool. The seat is made from reclaimed wood upholstered in rich, mustard gold velvet. The mustard colouring is both retro and classic, whilst also being a totally current colour trend for interiors. The buttoning detail gives a further classic look. Whether your interior space is shabby chic, classic, or traditional country house styling, this wee stool will nestle in nicely! This Hazel Footstool is made from coppiced wood from conservation of Ancient woodland in the Lake District. The internal frame is made from Ash as it is the strongest wood for chairmaking. Upholstered with 100% pure wool from Abraham Moon Woolen Mill and finished with buttonning in matching wool. The green is vibrant to give a sweet pop of colour in your room. The 1st image best conveys the shade. The stool is a single rung structure upholstered inside the legs to give an elegant look.
